Hello world.

I am an indie developer and content creator based in Manitoba. And to be honest, I am tired.

I am tired of “Software as a Service” (SaaS). I am tired of paying $29/month for simple tools that should be a one-time purchase. I am tired of bloated apps that need 500MB of RAM just to display a “Loading” screen.

So, I went back to the garage.

THE MISSION: CONTENT FACTORY

GarageLegacy is my personal project to build a suite of desktop tools for creators. My goal is to automate the boring parts of video production:

MY PHILOSOPHY

1. No Hidden Fees. You bring your own API keys (like ElevenLabs). You pay the provider directly, not me.

2. It Lives on Your Machine. No cloud dashboards. No login screens. It’s a .exe file. You own it.

3. Community First. I build what we actually need. Join the forum, suggest a feature, and I’ll probably code it next weekend.

If it works on my machine, I hope it works on yours.
