1. The Short Version
I am an indie developer, not a data broker. I have no interest in selling your personal data. I just want to build cool software.
The Golden Rule: What happens on your machine, stays on your machine.
2. Data Matrix
To be perfectly clear, here is what I touch and what I don’t:

3. The Software & Third Parties
The desktop app works locally, but it connects to APIs to generate audio. By using the software, your text is sent directly to:
- ElevenLabs: For TTS generation. (Read Policy)
- OpenAI: If you use their models. (Read Policy)
Note: I do not sit in the middle. The connection is direct from You -> API Provider.
4. Data Retention
- Forum Account: Stored until you ask me to delete it.
- Desktop App: No data is sent to me. Uninstalling the app wipes your local config.
- Analytics: Anonymized data is kept for 26 months (Google’s default).
5. Your Rights
Whether you are in the EU (GDPR), Canada (PIPEDA), or California, you have rights:
- Access: Ask me what data I have (Spoiler: just your email).
- Delete: Email me, and I’ll wipe your forum account within 48 hours.
- Export: I can send you a .txt file of your forum posts.
